The intersection of Kedzie and Belmont lies in the center of our community, but it also divides us. It is plagued with many challenges for pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers that limit people crossing it. Paint with a Purpose is a fundraiser to produce a series of murals at the intersection to not just beautify the area, but also draw positive attention to this central crossing in Avondale.

Muralists CHema Skandal!, Tony Passero, and Jerry Rogowski are local artists who also represent some of the diversity in our community. They will be inspired by local residents, past and present, when creating the final mural. Join us at this event to meet the artists, mingle with neighbors, and get a sneak peek at what characters will be considered for these murals!

Thank you to DMen Tap for hosting this event and Aldermen Mell for helping us support the project.
